find a specific driver

Post by Moog »

I'm trying to find a specific driver for a FLX5000
The version is 3DxWare 5.7.2 Firmware Version 3.11
Is there somewhere i can go, or can someone send me a copy?

Go to our website:
Choose Service
Choose driver download
Select Spaceball 5000
Select Win XP
Select show archive

Download driver.

You may be required to create a MY3DX account in order to download the driver.

P.S this driver is not Certified to run on WIN 7 OS.
The device and driver are a legacy device and are no longer being updated.

I've already done that but it won't give me 5.7.1 in the list

5.7.2 is the only available driver.
It was the last one released for the device.
No earlier drivers are available for Legacy Devices.

Dear Moog,

Like Fred was sharing above:

Go to our website: www.3dconnexion.com
Choose the 'Service' Menu
Choose 'Driver Download' Page
Select the Spaceball 5000 .
Select Windows XP
Enable the 'Show Archive' checkbox.
Search will generate a table for which you may select 3DxSoftware 5.7.2

Click on the link will enable you to download the driver.

You may be required to create a MY3DX account in order to download the driver.

P.S. This driver is not Certified to run on WIN 7 OS.
The device and driver are a legacy device and are no longer being updated.

Sincerely,
Bryan

Choose Spaceball 5000 Serial not the USB.
The release version number is different than the driver version.
