I recieved my SpaceMouse Pro today and it's good stuff!
(I've been using a Space Navigator with SolidWorks, Inventor and Catia every day at work for over 3 years..)
My question:
How do I activate the On-Screen Display? The product website says that this is only supported by Windows, I run Win7 64 Pro but can't make it work.
In the Button Configuration Properties the check-box " Enable On-Screen Display" is checked.
(I've used the 10 beta with my old Space Navigator almost since it was able to download and hopes that the SpaceMouse Pro soon will be supported by the beta too)
On-Screen Display?? SpaceMouse Pro

Normally you only have to do the below:
Push and hold down button 1,2,3 or 4 continue holding and the Onscreen display will appear letting you know what buttons you have assigned for the curently opened application.
If your in a non supported app the buttons will just show a number.
Not sure what sort of access you have setup.
Are your applications set to run as administrator?
You have to run are software with the same permissions.
Locate the start 3Dconnexion driver in the Startup folder
Right click choose properties
Select Compatibility
At the bottom select run as administrator.
You may also have to do the same with the file that runs the applet
Program Files\3Dconnexion\3Dconnexion 3DxSoftware\3DxWare\ 3DxVirtualLCD.exe
Right click and choose properties
Select Compatibility
At the bottom select run as administrator.
