Re: Spacepilot - delay after clicking button in SOLISWORKS
Hi ldzwonka,
- which button on the device do you use?
- what is mapped on that button?
- can you do that function in SolidWorks with a keyboard shortcut? Does it take the same time or is is faster?
- which version of SolidWorks do you have?
- and which version of the driver is installed?
- do you have a SpacePilot or a SpacePilot PRO?

Hi:
- I'm using Solidworks 2012 x64 Sp. 1.0
- Windows 7 x64 SP1
- I'm using Spacepilot
- I have latest driver 3d connexion release 3.15.2
- delay is on every button: special button from 1 to 6 and the other "standard" buttons (F-front, L-left, etc)
- when i use keyboard shortcut - function works faster than in spacepilot
I have mapped (Solidworks):
no 1 - mates
no 2 - maseure
no 5 - isometric view
no 6 - norma to
no 3 and 4 i'm not using now (empty)
Only button "fit" works fast
Rotation of models working good.

Hello ldzwonka,
could you please check the buttons in another application, for example Google Earth or Google Sketchup? That might help to determine if the delay is within SolidWorks or is coming from the device/driver.
Thanks,

In google sketch up working properly.
When i creating new parts, modify parts in SW it works fine... When i working in assembly in SWorks is delay... strange.
I have quadro 600 graphic card (Dell precision T1600) with 8GB RAM, intel xeon. i think it's not a Pc hardware problem, but who knows

Do you still have the problem if you create a new assembly?
Is there a difference in the effect with large assemblies and smaller ones?
Do you have the "Large Assembly Mode" activated? See in SolidWorks "Options -> System Options -> Assemblies -> Large assemblies".

Do you see a difference when you have a large assembly or when you have a smaller one?
Did you try a re-installation as described here?
If the clean installation doesn't help, please try a re-installation of your SolidWorks.
