3D connection control panel always opens

I am using Windows 7 and Creo Elements Pro 5 with a Spacepilot Pro. Every time I open Creo or CreoView, the 3D connection control panel opens. Is there a way to not have this open every time?

Hi hounddog99,

Did you update your device software to the latest version? Latest for Windows is 3DxSoftware v. 3.15.5.

Hi ngomes,

I am on version 3.15.4. Does the newer version change the opening of the control panel or allow me to shut it off?

I did update to 3.15.5 today and the control panel still opens each time I open ProE/Creo View. Is there an option in the new driver that allows this to be shutoff?

This was an issue in an earlier driver version.
Please perform a clean install of the driver

Hi guys, i would like to ask a question here hope you guys don't mind, i use a windows xp operating system and ever since i started using 3D connecxion i have being experiencing blue screen crashes of my op, what do u guys think could be causing it, because i installed my broadband almost at the same time as the 3D connecxion.

What version of the 3DxWare driver have you installed?

I have finally been able to get back to this. I did a clean install and loaded 3.15.5. The control panel or Device Configuration tab do not open in ProE/Creo but the Device Configuration does open whenever I open CreoView. Is there a way to shut this off?

Please file a bug with PTC. The driver is just doing what CreoView is telling it to do.
