why not support the MODO?

Well, I think he means to ask why there isn't support for Luxology's Modo, a 3D modeller/renderer.
Because of this his Space Navigator is now collecting dust next to his laptop.
And now you can cut and past your standard answer that support for the Space Navigator is supposed to be built in by the developers of Modo.
All the while, an official generic driver allowing Space Navigator output to be rebound to virtual joystick, mouse or keyboard functions would at least give your users possibilities to use some of the functionality of your products into the 99.999% of programs that don't have native Space Navigator support.

Re:
I'm not sure I agree here. If they did that then the developers would not feel pressured into natively supporting the devices. Laziness is pervasive in programming. I'm not sure how I see that mapping to a joystick would be beneficial, if a joystick would do the job I wouldn't have bought the navigator. Really, I would agree with you except for the human laziness factor.

Re: why not support the MODO?
not sure what this topic is about, space pilot works fine in modo 601+ even in windows 8 where im having issues with 3dsmax. (ive tested it)
Re: why not support the MODO?
First person posted when Modo was not supported 2010.
At that time there was also a Modo post where we told the users to contact Modo to add support natively.
We did not have code to implementy support.
The post was vague i replied looking for more info.
Next person im May of 2010 was airing grievence waiting for me to post the general statement if is not currently supported contact vendor.
Next one May 2012 is from the programmers letting people know Modo added support.
Next one apparantly used this post to post there first post May 2012 (Off Topic).
Next one disputed earlier post, since we do have a Beta driver that allows the device to be used either as a mouse, joystick or 2d mouse, not realaizing the post was created in 2010.
