Hi all together,
just on saturday I received my space navigator equipment and it's looking good.
I am currently starting to use blender and I am making good progress.
I am on Mac OS 10.8 and an iMac 27" with i7 and 16 GB on ram.
But I've got two problems:
1) When I go to system settings -> 3DConnexion and I want to create a macro by clicking to "+", the settings application crashes. Is this normal? I guess it's a bug.
2) Which software should I be using? There is 3DXWare 10 BETA 6 and 3DxMacWare 1.7.2, both software versions are from the 20th July 2012. Which one is right?
3) In blender, do I have the possibility to rearrange the axis used to turn, pan, zoom? I found the in-blender menu but it doesn't offer the properties I desire to change behaviour.
When I try to change the actions in the settings pane and add blender as application, blender won't recognize these settings. I guess it is overriding these?!
I appreciate any answer!

Re: Macros / Blender / which software at all?
This forum handles the 1.72 driver only,
There is an additional Forum for Beta 6 Driver users.
Blender added support natively in the application.
Blender has added its own internal menu for controlling the 3Dconnexion devices. There is an "Invert axes"option in the menu under "Orbit Options"
The button mapping in the Blender profile connects a button for each device to the Blender menu. On the SpaceExporer and the standard SpacePilot, the 'Panel' button opens the menu in Blender On the SpaceNavigator use the left button.
If you have re-mapped the button or created a custom Blender profile, you would see your profile listed as Blender-username. The default profile is named 'Blender' can be selected from the drop-down box at the top of the 3Dconnexion Properties window. You could also use choose "Restore all Defaults" [3Dconnexion Properties – Options- Restore all Defaults] to restore the Blender profile so that a button is linked to the options menu inside Blender.
