After installing my 3D-connection SpaceMouse Pro, i've opened Google Earth and activated the use of a other controller then the normal mouse via: Tools -> Options -> Navigation" and the option "Enable Controller".
After checking the option "enable controller" the program freeses for about 4-5 seconds, then unfreeses for 1 second, and so on.
I've tried switching between DirectX and OpenGL, i've updated my graphics drivers, been on the phone with the 3D-connection helpdesk, reïnstalled Google Earth and the 3D mouse software.
Computer specs:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5600+ 2.81 GHz
Windows 7 ultimate 32 bits
Motherboard: Asus Crosshair NF590SLI
Videocard: GeForce 9600 GT
Is there a solution for this problem??

Did you report the erronious movement Iissue to Google Earth?

Re: Google Earth crashes/freeses with use of secondary mouse
Hey Fred,
At first thans for the interest and quick response.
Google earth Help have contacted me almost directly after posting my question to them.
They also started by giving me this advise u gave me, but regretably it doen't solve the problem.
The folowing email conversation has taken place:
Hi Raptor,
Thank you for contacting Google.
Please go to the link below and follow all 7 steps within. They usually
help stop your system from crashing:
http://support.google.com/earth/bin/ans ... wer=176180
If I can assist you further, please let me know.
Hello K*,
You're directions did not help.
Hopefully there are more possibilities?
Regarts,
Raptor
Hi Raptor,
Thank you for your reply.
Does it work fine without the mouse? I haven't seen anyone use that mouse
before. Would you mind trying it without the mouse and seeing if the
crashing stops.
Also, what version of Google Earth Pro are you using? Please make sure you
have 6.2.2 installed.
Thank you for your continued patience.
Hi K*,
Step 7 of your first possible solution is'nt availible on my computer. The specific directory does not exist.
Google Earth works fine without the 3D-mouse, but as soon as i enable the option: "enable controller", the program slows to a grinding halt.
The 3D mouse works also perfectly in a completly other program 3D program (Solid Works).
My version of Google Earth is 6.2.2.6613
Thank you for your quick response!
Hi Raptor,
Thank you for your reply.
I talked with my colleague, and it sounds like a driver conflict. We found
out that historically the most common conflict is with OpenGL.
Can you please provide me with your system diagnostics?
You can use a simple diagnostic program called dxdiag to determine your
computer's hardware, operating system, and graphics card. To use the
dxdiag program, please follow these steps:
1. Select "Start"
2. Choose "Run."
3. Type "dxdiag" in the box and click "OK."
4. Click "Yes" to the prompt, and the program will begin running.
5. Select the "Save All Information..." button.
6. Save the file to an easy-to-find place, such as your desktop, and
attach it to your reply.
You may also want to try updating your graphics drivers and/or OpenGL
itself (the graphics driver update may handle this as part of the
process).
Technically, though, 3DConnexion is responsible for ensuring their product
is compatible with Google Earth, so if updating their graphics drivers
doesn't work, I would suggest that you try contacting 3DConnexion support
again.
Thank you for your continued patience.
Regards,

K*,
I've updated my divers via Nvidia.com already, at the very start of my problems.
The requested file is added in to this mail.

Re: Google Earth crashes/freeses with use of secondary mouse
Google implements support natively in the app.The first level tech will have to speak with their Engineers.
You reported our device is working correctly in Solidworks.
Some additional things to try is:
Turn off the terrain layer. Located under "3D View"
Go to Tools/Options and change from OpenGL to DirectX (or vice versa).
While still in options, click the cache tab and clear things then try adjusting the settings.
Obviously, make notes of what your settings are before making changes, it's easy to make things worse instead of better.

Re: Google Earth crashes/freeses with use of secondary mouse
This is the last reaction by the google earth helpcenter:
Hi Raptor,
It doesn't look there were any problems in that report.
I would suggest contacting 3DConnexion again. We're going to try and
request one of the mice ourselves and see if we can reproduce the problem,
and see if the engineers can find anything. In the meantime hopefully
3DConnexion will be able to take a closer look.
I would recommend using the product without that mouse if possible since
the program works fine without it for the time being.
I apologize about any inconvenience.
We're going to look further into the issue too.
Thank you for your continued patience.

I've tried to adjust all settings, grafics as other, but it is'nt a graphics problem. Seems like google earth can't handle the imput of the 3D spacemous pro.
Maybe there is something wrong on the drivers side?
