Can not install any driver

I have had som struggle with my SpaceMouse Pro for a while, buttons reset, settings disappear and so on. (thats the same with everyone on our company using the SpaceMouse Pro, those who have the SpaceExplorer runs them without problems)
Yesterday the SpaceMouse stopped to work except the blue light and I thought that the latest driver maybe would help.

At first I uninstalled the old drivers but discovered when it was done that I forgot to quit the 3Dconnexion Panel and another user who borrowed my computer earlier was still logged in and running the program too.
The GUI was still opened but "add / remove program" in windows says that 3Dconnexion wasn't installed, when I tried to reinstall it stopped, and I got som errors that seemed to refer to the plugins.
I made a complete uninstall, but it doesn't helped.
A computer clean up program I use said that a lot of stuff still was there so I made a complete registry clean up.
But guess what it still doesn´t work..

Now my first error code during installation is 1719 and after clicking ok on this one the installation goes backwards an the 2nd error 1603 shows up.

Does anyone have an idea of whats wrong??

I run Win 7 Pro x64.
I'm using Catia V5 R20 everyday and sometimes Solid Works 2012, Inventor 2011 and AutoCad 2011.

Hello Josef -

The error message for Error 1719 is 'The Windows Installer Service Could Not Be Accessed'. This is a Windows error rather than something specific to 3Dconnexion software. Microsoft has both manual and automated steps to correct this in their Fix It link.

Microsoft also lists Error 1603 occurring as a result of the Windows Installer Service error. By itself Error 1603 - 'Access is denied'- occurs if full admin permissions are not available or if there a prompt from Windows UAC that needs to be clicked before the installation will proceed.

Once you have resolved the problem with the Windows Installer Service, you should be able to run the 3DxSoftware installation without a problem. If applications such as SolidWorks are installed with administrator permissions you will need to give the same permissions to the 3Dconnexion software.Right-click on your downloaded 3Dxsoftware .exe and choose 'Run as administrator'.

I runned Windows FixIt solutions for installing program (didn't help) the solution was Windows FixIt for HW detection! At least it worked after that, except that the install program didn't found the 3DxInventor64.msi so I had to search for it and change the path manually.
