Start 3dxsrv.exe from command line without sound ???

exist something like "3dxsrv.exe -silent" to start the driver without the beep signals?

-silent refers to not having it popup error message boxes.

You can use the GUI to turn beeps off. The setting get stored in the registry (HKCU). You can also prestuff the registry with that value.

thanks for your answer! I know the -quit flag is for suppress the display prompt, so i thought there exist something similar for the audio signals. I also regognized the disable knob in the GUI and the reference in the HCUK, but changing the values has no consequences.

Maybe its just a problem of old hardware (serial) and wrong driver. I will see...

By the way, whats the reason for the missing 2D features (e.g. pan in photoshop) in the serial device in comparison to the same usb modell?

Wow. That is an ancient driver. The driver technology has moved forward in the direction of adding much more generic application support. A lot of the new features require USB devices. Also as applications change (e.g. new versions of Photoshop), changes need to be made in our solutions.

I thought that Disable Beeps switch has been around for quite a while. It could be that it only works correctly through the GUI.
