All,
Not sure if it's really the mouse or not, but I'm getting a lot of crashes in Solidworks 2013 SP1. It only happens when I'm rotating the model using the 3D mouse (Space Pilot). I have the latest drivers. Thoughts?

Can you provide additional information?
3DConnexion Driver version.
You can check your driver version in the 3Dconnexion Control Panel under Help|About and if you are not already using the current version you can download the software from our web site under Service –Download Driver. [http://www.3dconnexion.com/support/downloads.php]
What OS are you using?
Did this start happening after updating to new SW version?
You mentioned it crashes?
Does SW crash or does the 3DConnexion driver crash?
Some steps to try are:
Clean Install
The SolidWorks add-in uses a Windows registry key in addition to the 3Dconnexion profile to store settings. For this reason when we use the clean install steps to correct a SolidWorks issue , we also need to remove that registry key.
The clean install steps are here http://www.3dconnexion.com/faq/28 . The path listed for Vista is also correct for Windows 7. After using regedit to remove the registry keys listed , one additional registry key needs to be removed from the SolidWorks add-in keys.
Inside HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE|Software|SolidWorks there is a folder named 'AddIns'. In the 'AddIns' folder the registry key for the 3Dconnexion add-in is the one that begins with "7B9E5...". Select this key on the left then look at the values on the right. You should see 3Dconnexion listed there. This will confirm that you have located the correct registry key that needs to be deleted .[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE|Software|SolidWorks|AddIns|7B9E5...]
When you reach Step 8 of the clean install steps "Install the latest driver ..." make sure you are logged on from an administrator profile and that SolidWorks is closed.

Still getting intermittent crashes with a clean install as described above. Thinking it's probably Solidworks, because it crashed while I was using my regular mouse to zoom around (with the 3D mouse still active).
