Win 8 driver not compatable with my pc?

Hi,

I have a workstation laptop that I have just reloaded with Win 8 64bit and Solidworks 13. I have tried downloading the driver for my Spacexplorer USB but when I try to run it it says it won't "run on this computer".

I previously had XP pro and it worked fine. Any ideas or suggestions?

Did you save the file to your computer and then ran the install, or did you run it from the website?
What is the exact error message?
Is this your personal computer or a Work pc?
If its a work pc the driver needs to be installed from an admin account otherwise the driver wont get installed.

Thanks for your input. I'm pleased to report that I have overcome the problem and have successfully installed the driver. My problem appeared to be a corrupted download. I deleted it and tried again and it installed perfectly.
