Just got my SpacePilot Pro this morning.. been using the SpacePilot ( Old version ) for 4 years, so this new one was welcomed!. Great improvement on actually hitting the buttons.. the old one was a nightmare to hit the top row buttons without knocking the wrong shortcut lol
..Anyways enough praise, down to my issue
. I installed the SpacePilot Pro with the latest drivers. In Max it works perfectly, no issue. In maya however i can do everything except Roll.. now after using the roll function on for 4 years i feel really weird modeling without it on.. Anyways to get it to work?. In the configuration it says i should be able to, however out of the box it doesnt work at all. I tried to turn the function on and off, but nothing. 
Maybe there is something im missing?, max worked from the get-go.. all shortcuts were perfect too. Maya however the shortcuts are mapped to weird buttons and alot of the keys are mapped to rolling the view 45 degrees.. maybe because a manual roll with the joystick isnt supported?.
thanks for any input. Besides this, its a great product.
p.s: please bring back old drivers for the SpacePilot, SpaceNavigator etc... i have 3 older models at home, all of which collect dust as i cannot use them, all previous controllers drivers have been removed from the website
. i wanted to pass my old controllers to coworkers to test out but they cannot use them.. its too bad.
