Space Mouse Pro settings randomly changing

Hello all,

I'm having an issue with my SMP in Solidedge ST6. My problem is that while I'm working on a part (in both draft and modeling environments) my pan/zoom/rotate settings will randomly change. One minute everything (p/z/r) all work, and then randomly all I can do is zoom and I have to open the SMP setting and turn pan and rotate back on. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Am I accidentally using a key press combo that changes the SMP settings?

I just downloaded the lates driver today (11/8/13) from the 3Dconnextion website. Like I said earlier I am using my SMP in Solidedge ST 6 with maintenance pack 1 installed. Everything is running on a Win7 64bit machine.

I have an update. For some reason my button configurations are being all randomly set to TY only. I assume that means translation Y axis only. I still can't determine whether this is driver issue or Solidedge issue.

Hello Eric-

Choose Options- Restore all Defaults in 3Dconnexion Properties so that you are back to SolidEdge default settings with 'PopUp menu' mapped to your SpaceMouse Pro MENU button. There is a separate button editor that opens from the pop-up menu inside SolidEdge.

In SolidEdge with a document open, press the MENU button. The popup menu that opens has 'Rotate | Pan Zoom | Customize Buttons...' Choose 'Customize Buttons' here and the 3DxSolidEdge editor will open inside ST6.

This editor has priority over button mapping changes made in 3Dconnexion Properties. The issue you are seeing with settings changing randomly can happen if there is a corrupted registry key for the add-in.

If you are still seeing a problem after returning to defaults and mapping ST6 buttons only in the 3DxSolidEdge editor, you can use the clean install steps to remove the registry keys and profiles and re-install.
