Hi folks
Is it possible to use a spacenavigator to control a 3d model over a remote desktop connection? I know there were some constraints with MS not supporting passing USB devices over the remote connection. I did a search here but the results seem to be a couple of years old , I was just wondering if anything had changed in the meantime.
I have a win7X64 pc connecting to a win7x64 pc using remote desktop. The client pc has a spacenavigator and the host machine has a spacemouse Pro.
(if I had a space mouse pro at either end would that change the outcome?)
thanks

Hi marco007,
if you use HP RGS software then you have support for the 3D mouse, too. But I think this is the only supported possibility currently. Anything else with a USB forwarding tool is not tested nor supported by 3Dconnexion.
