Hi,
I have a 64bit version of Windows 7 running on my machine, my SpaceNavigator is running the latest driver from 3Dconnexion (version 3.17.7).
The demos work fine and I have completed the tutorial.
I have UG NX 7.5 installed on my system. The 3Dconnexion add-in is present, but I cannot do ANYTHING with the SpaceNavigator in NX.
Does anyone have any ideas what is going wrong?
Regards
Rob

Re: 3Dconnexion (SpaceNavigator) with no functionality NX 7.
Nx supports our device natively we provide the button mapping for the applicaiton in our addin.
Check the NX Application Settings:
In NX there are 3d device settings inside the application. In the Customer Defaults settings under Gateway - General there is a tab for "3D Input Device". These settings have priority over settings selected in 3Dconnexion Properties . If all of the axis directions are enabled in 3Dconnexion Properties but 'Pan and Zoom only' is selected on the 3D Input Device tab , only those axis directions will be available in the application.
The '3D Input Device' tab in the Customer Defaults settings is hidden until a 3d device is initially enabled in NX. If the '3D Input Device' tab is not visible it can be opened by going to the 3d device section in NX- help.

When the NX button mapping is greyed out , it indicates the system environment variables need to be edited. The steps here explain what needs to done:
http://www.3dconnexion.com/faq/55
Environment variables are located on the Advanced tab in System Properties.
When there is more than one version of NX installed, you will need to adjust the environment variables for each NX installation so that it correctly points to the path for 3dxnx.dll. When you re-start NX after modifying the Environment variables you should find the 3DxNX "Button Mapping Editor" and "Device Settings" available.
