Also there seems to be bugs in the UI itself. When using the Spacemouse with TouchDesigner it is not changing the zoom (backwards forwards) to the z axis but remains stuck on the y axis no matter what I have set in the settings.
I would prefer to run the older beta driver that has a much better settings interface and worked with Maya but even when I click on "show archived builds" in the download area no older drivers show up.
I realize that 3Dconnexion wanted to make the interface simpler but imho it is too slimmed down. I personally think the option of more control and features is much better and that if anyone wants to figure out how to use they should be able to and if they don't then they don't need to...
Either way it would be really nice if the older builds were downloadable. I like the old interface better at least as far as functionality goes the new one does look better.

Also not being able to select the current app from a list can be a real hassle especially if you don't use alt-tab to switch between apps because the current app always switches to Windows Explorer as soon as you click on the 3dconnexion icon in the task bar.
Overall I think simple is good - too simple is just not very useful.
Could and older driver be posted just so I can Maya working until the bugs are worked out?
BTW here are the system specs
driver - 3DxWare64_v10-0-20_r1721
