LEDs unresponsive when told to turn off

Post by jedistocky23 »

Hi everyone.

I have a SpaceNavigator on Win 7 x64, running 3DxWare version 10.0.22 & 3DxWinCore version 17.0.32.

Every time I log in my LEDs are on.
I right-click on the system tray icon to bring up the Write Log File / LEDs Active / Calibrate menu.
The "LEDs Active" has a tick next to it.
I click on it to take the tick away.
The LEDs remain on.
They only turn off and stay off (for that session) if I Calibrate it (they flash then stay off).
Why is it doing this? The old driver worked just fine and remembered that I don't want the LEDs on ever.

Hi jedistocky23,

did you boot your machine after you connected the SpaceNavigator?

Have you tried other USB ports?

That worked! I shifted it from a USB 2.0 port to a USB 3.0 port and it is now behaving. Thanks.
