3d spacemouse problem

Hello 3Dconnexion ,

Im an trainee at Hilton engineering , im developing parts in inventor.
For this i am using the spacemouse to assembly my parts . But i have some problems with my mouse , sometimes its not working...
I tried almost every option , i run windows xp with the newest software for the mouse. Sometimes i start my computer and the mouse works , while the next day he stops working at the startup.
When i plug the mouse in other computers he always works perfectly , Could anyone help me out with this problem?

Hello daan,

which driver do you have installed?

Which version of Inventor are you using?

Which model of the 3D mouse do you have?

If you cannot navigate in Inventor please check if the driver is running? (3Dconnexion icon in the system tray)

Hello ,

Im using the latest driver on the site 10.0.22

Inventor version 2009

normal Spacemouse

The driver always starts but the mouse is just not responding to anything.
And the driver doesnt recognise my mouse.

Hello daanc,

what is a "normal" SpaceMouse for you? A SpaceMouse Pro, a SpaceMouse Plus (legacy device), a SpaceMouse Wireless (newest model)? Please explain.

ich habe ein Problem mit meinem Spacenavigator. Ich arbeite an einem Dell Laptop mit dem Betriebssystem Win7 64Bit Enterprise. Als CAD Progamm habe ich Inventor 2015. Ich wechsel jetzt mit unter mehre mal am Tag das Gebäude und habe so Ich habe ein Problem mit meinem Spacenavigator. Ich arbeite an einem Dell Laptop mit dem Betriebssystem Win7 64Bit Enterprise. Als CAD Programm habe ich Inventor 2015. Ich wechsel jetzt mit unter mehre mal am Tag das Gebäude und habe so zwei Arbeitsplätze, wo ich meinen Laptop mit nehme. sent len="10"?>Bei dem einen habe ich eine Dockingstation mit einem SpacePilot. /sent ?>Funktioniert alles super. Bei dem andren Arbeitsplatz habe ich einen Spacenavigator, der per USB direkt angeschlossen ist. Der Spacenavigator wird vom System erkannnt und auch von der Softwear. Allerdings erkennt der Spacenavigator nicht, wenn ich Inventor öffne, also wechselt er auch nicht dahin. In der Taskleiste steht er weiter hin auf Desktop. Kann mit jemand sagen, was ich machen kann, das der Navigato zu Inventor wechselt?

Hallo MPIBR,

welche Treiberversion hast Du für den SpaceNavigator installiert? Besteht das Problem immer, also auch wenn Du neu bootest oder nur, wenn Du mit dem Laptop wechselst?

Überprüf bitte mal, ob das Plugin installiert ist: 3DxInventor. Nachschauen unter Tools -> Add-Ins -> Applications.
