Unusual 3DxWare64 install Problem

I am having an issue installing the 3DxWare 10.1.4 64 bit.

When I run the downloaded executable, it automatically extracts the 3DxWare64.exe as it should, which then uses the install shield wizard to extract the setup.exe along with all the other necessary installation files for windows installer to utilize. However instead of installing, the window disappears with no explanation or error message. I have never installed the software before nor have I installed any previous versions of 3DxWare.

When I manually extract the files and try running the setup.exe itself, the generic windows 'This program may not have installed correctly' window pops up. Again, no error message is to be had.

I am running Windows 7 64 bit.

Problem Resolution:

I solved the issue by reinstalling the Windows OS and trying again. I dont know what could have caused the issue, but im glad it's fixed.
