Latest update breaks the software

Do not update to 10.2. It breaks the properties menu.

This is what I get when I try to open the properties.

They also lied to us, saying the issue of backwards rotation when applying light pressure to the cap is fixed. It is not.


I had to create an account to warn everyone, this is unacceptable. I've been waiting months to have this VERY annoying and borderline unusable issue fixed....but instead of fixing it, they just broke the software even more.

Correction. This error only appears when you try to open the properties when on the desktop. If you open the properties while another window is open it works as normal.


The backwards rotation issue is still present, tho.

I apologize if the new driver release causes problems.

We need a certification for the fix for bug #6737 ("Model moves in wrong direction when axis reversed") and rely on external resources with that. We are working on this but if we would have waited for this the release would have to be postponed for an indefinite time. I will update you as soon as we have the fix released.

Could you please check if removing existing configurations removes the error message as well? You find the instructions here.

How do you open the properties? By right-clicking to the 3Dconnexion icon in the system tray? Or by double-clicking to it? Or with a button of your 3D mouse?
Which 3D mouse do you have?
