I got my Space Navigator at the weekend and have been having problems.
When I load up an application (or even a demo), I can Navigate fine for a few seconds and then is suddenly stops responding.. THe app is still running and hasn't crashed.. But it does respond to inputs from the Space Navigator.
I have no spare USB ports, so thought nothing of plugging it into a hub.
After trying everything software, I finally moved the USB cable off of the hub and it worked and stayed working for hours.
Are there any known issues with using a USB Hub?

Re: Problems using a Space Navigator via a USB Hub?
Hello jweaver,
usually there are no problems using a USB hub. But as there are out so many different models we cannot really say this is a supported setup. In case of a problem we always ask the user to connect the device directly to the machine to verify that the 3D mouse is working properly. Our device follow the rules for all USB devices concerning power consumption etc.
But perhaps you can try one of your other USB devices on that hub and have the 3D mouse connected directly.
