SpaceMouse Pro stopped working overnight !

Hello 3Dconnexion forum !
I recently bought a Spacemouse Pro to use on SolidWorks 2014 from ebay. I installed it last Saturday, and was overjoyed at the freedom that it allows within SolidWorks.
Done a large scale assembly last night, saved all data, and left the laptop on til this morning.
Got up, made myself a nuclear coffee and proceeded to sit down and carry on with said assembly......

The laptop had restarted, and when i opened solidworks, the spacemouse had stopped working.
I checked previous posts regarding this, but when I go to uninstall programs - there is no 3dConnexion software to uninstall !!
I tried to find the drivers that were installed, but couldnt find them either.
I have tried the temp folder delete, and tried installing again, many times.. but still no working spacemouse.

WTF ?

tried the spacemouse on my mac and it works a treat. Any ideas ?
or otherwise know as

HELP !!!

I took some pics of the error messages I had when trying to re-install. Just got to figure out how to post them !

Error code from windows is -

"An error occurred during the installation of assembly
'policy.9.0.Microsoft.VC90.CRT.version="9.0.30729.4148",publicKeyToken="1fc8db3b9a1e183b",processorArchitecture="amd64"type="win32-policy", Please refer to Help and Support for more information."

I have no idea what it means.

After Installation rollback, I get Error 1603 - which is something to do with installing as administrator.
However, I havent changed any administrator rights.

I installed it exactly the same way as I did originally.

This is doing my nut in now, As I need to finish off this assembly.

Found this, but cant understand why its not giving me administrator rights ?

located installer package - right click and run as administrator.....

Contacted 3Dconnexion UK helpline and spoke to a helpful chap named Gleb,
He took all the details, and hopefully I can get some full on Tech help.

For sure, it's the P.C.
Just tried it on the Mac and it works ok.

I need it working on the P.C. though - Thats where SolidWorks lives !
