The driver you reference was a beta release, made before the wireless spacemice were released, so it will not recognize the wireless models.
The 'support' for ZBrush in that release was very cumbersome and jerky. It essentially translated spacemouse actions into keypresses and normal mouse movements which ZBrush could recognize.
Pixologic, the makers of ZBrush, have been very reluctant (bordering on hostile) to add spacemouse support to their products.
Unfortunately it is not something which can be fixed with a simple plugin or driver update from 3DConnexion.
