CadMouse and Creo Issues

Post by ulrichandri »

Hello all,

custom buttons don't seem to work with Creo 2.0. For example, the default QuickZoom buttons don't work, neither do custom Creo functions like "Measure" (invoked with the gesture control).

I have confirmed under File>Help>System Information that the Auxiliary Application 3DxProENGINEER is listed:

Creo Help Search Path:
==================================================
Auxiliary application Information
==================================================

Application 0: 3DxProENGINEER
Exec path: C:\Program Files\3Dconnexion\3DxWare\3DxProENGINEER64\creo2\x86e_win64\obj\3dxcreo.dll
Text path: C:\Users\XXXXX\AppData\Local\Temp\3DxProENGINEER
Version 31 - 2012060
Application is running.

The 3DxWare 10 version is 10.2.3, the 3DxWinCore version is 17.2.3.11261 and the Device is a CadMouse, firmware v.1.00.

I am running Creo Parametric 2.0 M110.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Andri

Hi Andri,

open the driver window and go to "Buttons". Click to the little arrow at the right side of the button to open the "Fly-out". In the fly-out you have the search field and below that a list of categories. This list should be:

- 3Dconnexion
- Creo Parametric
- 2D Mouse
- Keyboard
- Macros
- Other
- Radial Menus

Do you have the same list?

Hi UtaSH,
I experience the same issue as Andri. I can see what you have listed. Nothing of predefined functions works.
I have win 7, 64bit, Creo Parametric 2.0 M140.

Same problem here with SpaceMouse Pro Wireless.
In my case the 3dconnexion buttons in the ribbon (in Creo) were also missing.
I found out it has something to do with my personal config.pro in creo startup folder.
When removing al mapkeys in this config.pro the 3dconnexion buttons appeared in the ribbon and custom button mappings of the work.
But then I cannot use my mapkeys anymore...
