Hi Vapeape,
do you see the device in the device manager listed under "Human Interface Devices"?
Have you tried if it makes a difference if you unplug the 3D mouse and plug it in again?
Have you tried different USB ports?
Does the driver start? Do you see the little 3Dconnexion icon in the system tray?

Hi Utash,
Its listed as just a USB input device under Human Interface Devices.
Yes - no difference

No, The icon is gone, as there is no 3DxWare installed anymore. The whole problem being that I cant re-install it.
The Error seems to be down to a Visual C+ ? error ( Policy 9.0 Microsoft VC90.CRT) - I have tried and tried to get info on this, but nothing seems to work.

Re: SpaceMouse Pro stopped working overnight !
Well, bit the bullet and done a clean install of Windows 7, Re-installed SW and Spacemouse Pro, and its right again.
How long for, I don't know......
Wish there was an easier way !

Hi,
I have the same problem, tried all the tips and tricks I have found in the forum.
Tried extracting the exe files, but the 3dxWare64.msi file is nowhere to be found.
Install can't find the location of the temp file. It's not to be found anywhere when searching manually. Seriously, a Clean install of windows is the only solution I have seen i the forum.
3Dconnexion!!! Seriously, need you to fix this I need a solution that doesn't mean a Clean install.
Possible to send the 3Dxware64.msi file????
Opened a ticket in support a few Days ago, only answer I got was to install as an administrator, I am the administrator. It doesn't work.

Re: SpaceMouse Pro stopped working overnight !
Hi MarcusM,
this is a special situation on your machine. Something with the installation got messed up. I have seen this before. I could solve the issue by entering the path manually. I copied the path and used the Browse button. I removed letter by letter at the end of this path (here: C:\Users\mm\AppData\Local\Temp\pftF09D.tmp)until I found a very similar directory (similar to pftF09D.tmp) with the same extension (.tmp). There I found all necessary files.
But in fact I assume that an older version that you had installed before is blocking the correct installation. Do you know which version(s) you had installed before? Do you still have the installer files? First install the previous version and if that works uninstall it. Then try the newest version of our driver.
You can get the msi files (we have many of them) by extracting the installer package with for example 7-zip. You get one exe that you have to extract/unzip again and this will bring all msi files. Let me know if you choose this way to install. I need to know what 3D mouse you have and with which software you want to use it. I can then tell you which files you need to install.
Let me know what you find out.
