problems with using 2 space pilot pro home/work

Post by qtd3612 »

I use a dell window7 64 bit precision m4700 to design both at work and home. had an old space pilot pro and upgraded to the new one about 3 months ago to leave that one at home and the old one at work. Buttons were configured for home ( new one) and then the old one at work was lost and I never bothered to figure out how or if it could figure that out. So i bought another space pilot pro identical to the one at home and brought it to work. Assuming since they were the same it would just work. I just plugged it in did not install the disc that came with it. It is not working in inventory and is randomly opening the configure box with exlore listed while on the pilot screen saying decrease sensitvty. I am thinking I need to calibrate it. when i schol to inventor is says no files open but they are. So I am thinking the computer doesnt' really know this device. I installed the lastest software as well. However maybe I should uninstall it first and then install it but i fear losing all my buttons I have set up.

1. Can you operator 2 of the same space pilot pro ( home and work)and have one set up set ups?
2. any help on the how to set this up?

ok so I brought both home.
the one that I bought a while ago works just fine as before no issues.
I unplug it put the new on in the usb and teh lcd shows up and the arrow keys work and most of the buttons on the top panel work.
everything below does not. the cap is not lite up blue , the buttons do nothing. it still satys decrease sensevity when ever it forces the menu to pop up and the number key pop up.

Hi Dale,

you did the right: you contacted our Technical Support Team. :)

Is the replacement device working fine?
