I have searched the forum to find others with a similar issue, but haven't seen this problem anywhere else. I have been using my Spacemouse Wireless Pro for several months and I am very happy with it. Recently I have noticed that when I disconnect the USB cable the green light turns red. I haven't found any documentation ANYWHERE on the that describes what the green/red light means. My assumption is that the battery is low. When I plug in the USB cable the software indicates it is charging. It reaches 100% in just a few minutes. If I disconnect the USB cable again, the light goes red when I turn it on. It seems to me that this device is not charging properly.
The only thing I can relate this to is the fact that I typically have the USB cable connected when I use it and only use the wireless function when I work remotely. I would assume the USB cable would keep the unit charged, but for some reason mine is dead. Any suggestions on what I am doing wrong, or how I can get a full charge on this battery properly?
