Shift key not working in Maya 14

Hi,

My shift key has randomly stopped working inside of Maya, even know the LCD acknowledges me pressing "shift" I'm using the space pilot pro.

I've tried to reset the shift key in the key bindings however it still doesn't work.

Is there any fix without resetting my key binds? I really hate resetting them!

alt, control, shift (and probably esc) are all not working >.<

No that didn't help.

I've upgraded to maya 2016 and repaired the software and it's all working again.
