Exception: Customized cultures cannot be passed by LCID

Hi All,

I have got the space navigator and 3DConnection properties won't start at all. 3DxSmartUI reports: "Exception: Custopmized cultures cannot be passed by LCID, only by name." and an OK button. Nothing further.

Any advice? Thanks!

Hi digichuckle,

that sounds like a problem with the language and regional settings in your system. What settings do you have in the Windows Control Panel if you go to "Language"? Did you customize them? Where are you located?

Let us know what you have in the log file of the SmartUI. You find it here: %LOCALAPPDATA%\3Dconnexion\3DxWare\3DxSmartUI.log .

Control panel (home) locations is Netherlands. Windows display language: English (United Kingdom) - keyboard layout: US-international. Language for non-unicode programs: Bulgarian

Tried changing all the above settings and in different cominations - no result. I'm also getting this:

3DxService

! Unable to load an 3DxService.dll resource DLL.

OK
