Global mapping for Radial Menu on CadMouse

Post by luke.johnson »

I would like to apply the same custom, global Radial Menu to the dedicated button on the CadMouse. At the moment, it needs to be reset for every program (individual profiles).

Also, I can't edit the 'built in' RM_ radial menus: if I could then it would solve the problem above. Has any resolved this?

Hi luke.johnson,

currently it is not possible that any setting can be made that is then valid for any application. I have added an enhancement request for this possibility. Our internal tracking number for this is #6948.

The pre-defined radial menus cannot be edited at the moment. There is no radial menu that is provided to all applications. Each application has it's own radial menu. They all have a pre-defined that has the same name, but the commands are different and are application specific commands.

There is no GUI support for doing this, but you can create your radial menu and copy it into your %appdata%\3Dconnexion\3DxWare\Cfg\Global.xml file. You can also dedicate a CM button to it. See the Global.xml under Program Files/3Dconnexion/3dxware/3dxwincore/cfg for an example.
