A new customer/member Error 1063 RunAssembly.exe

Post by laveaga »

I just received a SpacePilot Pro, and at the installation got the following error.
Image
I am using Win 10,
Installed software as Admin
Disabled ESET software (firewall and antivirus)
I removed/re-installed and still not able to use the demo, everything else seems fine.

Kindly advise, in case I can manually install Demo in another way.

Hi laveaga,

have you had a previous version of the 3Dconnexion driver installed? If yes and if you still have that installer please proceed as follows:
  1. Uninstall the currently installed 3DxWare.
  2. Reboot.
  3. Install the previous version of the driver. Did that work without errors?
  4. Reboot.
  5. Un-install the 3DxWare driver again.
  6. Reboot.
  7. Now install the latest version of our driver.
If this didn't work either please create log files of the installation. See here how to do that.

Let me know what you find out.
If you have the log files to send I will send you an email to which you can respond with the files attached.

Uninstalling and reinstalling with a boot in between solved the issue? :-)

Hello,
I encountered the same problem (Windows 10 x64, space mouse pro wireless):
- No previous versions installed (before today)
- Previous version (10.2.9) installs
- Current version (10.3.0) shows the error
- Uninstalling/reinstalling with reboots as described doesn't work

Installation log files for "demo" component show an error for missing Net Framework 2.0 and IIS.
Is this the reason? I prefer not to install NetFx 2.0 and IIS just to try.
Any other solution?

Hello unlikely,

can you provide the log file of the attempt to install the 3DxAssembly? See here how to create the log file. Once you have thew log file let me know. I will provide an email address where you can send it.
