Acad MDT 07

Hello,

My company recieve the Space Pilot when we upgraded to 07 about 8 months ago and everything worked fine.

I recently upgraded my PC and now I am having problems getting the Pilot to work. I've gotten it to "see" which programs are open, but i cant get it to do anything.

I've uninstalled all drivers and reinstalled them 3 or 4 times, and still get the same results.

Also, in Autocad MDT 07, i do not see nor can i load the 3dconnexion toolbar, its as if Acad isn't seeing it. Is there a macro i need to run to make it work?

any help is greatly appreciated!

I was kickin around in my menu files, nothing major, restarted, and now the 3dconnexion toolbar is present!

Still though, the spacepilot is not doing anything. i can set a rotation point, everything on the toolbar seems to be working.

Which version are you using? Ensure that you have the latest and then run the "Update Wizard" (right-click on the driver system tray icon). You need to be logged in as an administrator.

i ran the update wizard this morning before i posted the earlier post. i have all administrative options.

Please check what release of 3DxSoftware is installed. If you don't have the latest release (3DxSoftware v3.3.6) please download that one from here and install it.

Please post your findings afterwards.

Please test your device with the delivered Demos available under "Start -> All Programs -> 3Dconnexion -> 3Dconnexion 3DxWare -> Demos".

Do you have a standard commercial license for MDT 2007?

it doesnt work on the demos either, and yes its a standard license.
