Appropriate SpacePilot Driver

I have an old SpacePilot (not PRO) working with Catia through a VPN, and use multiple Microsoft softwares on my local machine. Both the network system and local are on Windows 7 64 bit. I originally had the latest drivers installed, and while the mouse recognized each program running, I had error issues that would cause it to stop working periodically. I uninstalled the drivers and downloaded the 3.16.3 drivers that were recommended through the download page. Now the mouse doesn't recognize any programs at all, it constantly says Any Application at the top, and any customized commands are non functional. Is there a medium ground driver that could give the added functionality of recognizing the active programs, but not give me the errors I was receiving? To throw a bit of a wrench into all of this, I have yet to get the mouse itself to work within my VPN. I can get certain command buttons to work (middle mouse, ctrl, shift, etc.) but no custom commands, or use of the mouse itself. Here is a screenshot of the error I was getting previously. Thanks for any assistance anybody may have. I've used newer devices without issues, but I'm still fairly new to the driver side of these things.

unfortunately you are using a discontinued device - the SpacePilot. See here. And on the other side you have a setup that we do not recommend to use: remote use of the 3D mouse. See here.

A remote connection such as Microsoft's Remote Desktop usually forwards the keyboard and the standard mouse but not the 3D mouse. So you would need an additional software to make sure the 3D mouse is recognized properly by the client. Which remote software are you using?

The issue with the VirtualLCD might be related to corrupt data in the user profile. Please clean your settings as described here.
