SolidWorks Issues

I just bought a Space Navigator and for some reason it is not working with SolidWorks. It can only zoom in and out. It does not rotate and the buttons do not work with it. I installed the latest driver 10.4.4 for my Windows 7 computer but it doesn't work. The test programs that were installed along side like Jet work just fine.

What is wrong and what can I do to fix it?

One more thing - the zoom in and out feature is not smooth in most cases. For the Jet program it is smooth but for scrolling in Chrome or zooming in SolidWorks (the only thing it does in solidworks) it jumps. Can I make it smooth?

Perhaps SolidWorks was running when you installed the driver?
