Hi all,
I am a longtime user of the 3DConnexion products, as a matter of fact I recently retired my SpaceBall 3000 when I changed careers.
So now I bought the Spacemouse wireless the other day, and so far it works flawlessly with Solidworks, but I am unable to get the unit to perform with the Geomagic line of software products, namely Geomagic Design X 64, and Geomagic Control 2015. Is there a fix I can download to navigate these software platforms? While I'm at it, will this potential fix cause issues with Solidworks such as needed 1 driver for 1 software, and then another driver for the others? Finally, doesn't this fancy mouse also work with a pdf viewer? If so, I would like so instructions on how to make that work as well. Using a regular mouse just sucks, and my productivity is way down today. I don't think I could ever get the hang of floating around with the combinations of buttons necessary to navigate using a regular mouse. I loved the spaceball 3000, and I sure the wireless product will eventually give me years of awesomeness, but for now, and probably for the next week or so, I'm kind of lost.

Re: Geomagic navigation aide.
Hello Slurry Pumper,
from our knowledge Geomagic has implemented the support for the 3D mouse device without making use of our SDK. This means they address the device directly. And the implementation has been made at a time where the SpaceMouse Wireless hasn't been launched. Therefore the application doesn't know and recognize this device. Please address this problem with the programmers of Geomagic. Only they can fix this. We strongly recommend to change the implementation in the way that they use our SDK (http://www.3dconnexion.com/service/soft ... loper.html) so that this kind of problem can be avoided in the future.
