Navisworks NOT recognizing SpaceNavigator HELP!!!

I have been using my 3D mouse for over 2 years now and I love it! Last week I received a new laptop. It is a Dell 5100 which happens to be the same one I had previously but with a bigger hard drive. Everything worked perfectly.

I installed all my software first (Navisworks, Revit, Sketchup, AutoCAD, Revizto, and BIM 360 Glue). Then I installed the most recent drivers (3DxWare64_v10-4-5_r2417) for 3DConnexion.

The 3D mouse works great in all those programs plus Office but does not in Navisworks (both 2016 & 2017). I installed 2017 thinking it could have been the 2016 version. I get nothing plus 3Dconnecion is greyed out in the Navigate panel in the Viewpoint tab. There is also NO option to select it in the Navigation Bar.

I LOVE THIS MOUSE!!! I had to struggle through three coordination meetings this week using the regular ole mouse and it was horrible. For both myself and the teams painfully watching me move around the models. The only difference between previous machine and now is a 1TB drive instead of a 500GB. It may be the newest driver because it looks like it updated (8/11/16) a few days before I got my new laptop (8/26/16). The last driver I installed was downloaded 2/26/16. Everything worked perfectly from then until this past week.

I heard back from 3Dconnexion. It turns out there is an issue with the 10.4.x drivers and Navisworks - they are aware of it.

They had me download 10.3.0 drivers and now ALL programs are working with Space Navigator!
