Enterprise, Advanced, "Reverse" not working.

Post by grey_starr »

Just put in the SpaceMouse Enterprise and of course I need to customise the settings. So I go to the Advanced Settings changing the Zoom Direction to Up/Down. But the directions are wrong - no worries - but the "Reverse" options are not working for any of the directions.

This is in Creo3.0 build 080 - Windows 7.

Help appreciated.

Hello grey_starr,

currently I have M040 of Creo 3.0. But as reverting the axes is handled by the driver this shouldn't make any difference.

I have tried what you described, but I couldn't see any problems. I switched the Zoom direction from "Forward / Backward" to "Up / Down" and found everything working as it should. Imagine you hold the device up in a way as if you would stick it to a wall or your monitor.

I then reversed some of the axes and the direction changed exactly.

I recommend that you remove your personal settings for the SpaceMouse Enterprise as described here. You can as well make a backup instead of removing it - just in case it doesn't solve the issue.

I am attempting a clean install, with the newest driver. Hopefully that helps.

It was odd that when I tried reversing nothing would happen... find out in about 15 minutes if a clean install helps 8) I had previously just tried updated from the Pro install that was there already.

Okay - the re-install and adding the Enterprise first worked.... I was able to use the Pro after (for making setup config) without issue and switch back to Enterprise

I still wish that there was a simple button to go from 3D device to standard mouse! So I could just have the one device in my hand. To be blunt - it rather sucks and no one I know wants to use it because of this. Heck, I barely touch it because of this.
