Hi Ivous

Could you specify what kind of files do you import and export?

Please describe a short scenario in order to reproduce. Could you send an example file?

Hi agoenczi,

I captured a video of my 3DS MAX. You can see it on this pages:
(it is XviD MPEG-4 Codec, 1.5MB)
http://www.brezina.cz/3dconnexion/

short description of videocapture:

1. I start the 3DS MAX and my SpaceNavigator work normaly
2. open the box with mouse and select IMPORT (or EXPORT)
3. the dialog box is appear and I click on STORNO button
4. SpacePilot doesnt work but buttons work normally

I try install on anothers computers, its same mistake

Thank You for your answer

Hi Ivous

The first step is always trying to reproduce... I will do it and I will let know about my findings.

Hi Ivous

I could reproduce the issue. Could you check what version of 3DxStudio do you have? You can check it by opening the file: "Start -> All Programs -> 3Dconnexion -> 3Dconnexion Plug-In for 3ds Max 9 -> Readme" and looking at the record following "CHANGES FROM PREVIOUS VERSIONS", there is a record with the current version. For your information I reproduced the issue with 3DStudio Max 9 (32 bit) and the Plug-In 3DxStudio v4.4.7.

Hi Ivous

Uncheck the checkbox "Suspend Motion" in the Plug-In and the navigation will work again. This is a known issue registered under # 4386 (for your reference).

Hi agoenczi

I find in Readme file and I have same version (4.4.7) of 3DxStudio.

Is it possible assigned any key to "Uncheckbox SUSPEND MOTION"?
or automaticly switch on/off after EXPORT?

Because, for me is no comfortable every export or import Unchect the box.

What is it # 4386 ?

Thank You

Hi Ivous

At the moment the simplest solution is to switch-on the 3Dx Control Panel and uncheck the "Suspend Motion" checkbox.

4386 is an internal tracking number of this issue used by 3Dconnexion, the exactly same notation you will find under "CHANGES FROM PREVIOUS VERSIONS", for instance:
Fix [4445] Perspective View flickering
