SpaceNavigator spin direction reverses

Sometime after locking my computer and logging back into it, the spin direction reverses in SolidWorks. I have to open the SpaceNavigator properties, click on something to change a setting, click back to where it was, and close the properties window to get the spin direction corrected. Anyone experience this?

Did you change the spin direction away from our shipping defaults?

Please upgrade to the next release (10.4.4 - available soon I hope). It has improved handling of PC locking/unlocking.
Then let us know if the problem persists.

You should not have a problem either way. If there is a problem we need to fix it.

Hi Jwick, I am experiencing the same issue.

I have driver version is 10.4.8 installed and the spin direction is as per standard but I have change the zoom direction from the default.

You have switched the zoom direction of which device?
And when you lock/unlock your screen while Solidworks is running, the device switches back to the default zoom direction?
If you switch to any different application, then back to SW, does it correct itself?

All I know is that my Zoom Direction is Up/Down and I turn it off, so I'm only using my scroll wheel on my Cad Mouse for zooming in and out in SolidWorks. Sometimes when I log out and log back in, the SPIN direction reverses. And sometimes, I get no response and have to Stop Driver, and Start Driver to get it to work. Very annoying...

No, I haven't switched the spin direction at all. I don't know what your default or shipped zoom direction is. I set the zoom direction for Up/Down. However, I turn off the zoom on the SpaceNavigator by unchecking the radio button and deactivating it. I have attached a screen shot of my settings.

I tried switching to a different application and back after having the problem, and it does correct itself. Not sure yet if that will work when the driver stops working.
