Back again.
I am having trouble button mapping. Newest versions of all installed.
The only trouble is with the three views, Dimetric, Trimetric, and Isometric.
I drag the name to any of the three buttons, Ctrl, Alt, or Esc and the views won't work. If I put any other view, such as bottom, normal to, the buttons work fine. Just the three angle views do not work.
Any ideas? I just restarted, and reloaded the software in the 'repair' mode.
Most respectfully,
Mike Rock

Button mapping/ part mode
Hi Mike Rock
Could you describe a scenario in order to reproduce?
Does it happen with a certain part/assemly/drawing, or it isn't specific? Could you map the functions you mentioned (dimetric/trimetric/isometric) to any buttons and you will experience the same?

I can drag any of the standard views to any buttons and they respond, EXCEPT for the three angular views. Any drawing open, same thing. The fault is not in the physical button itself. The buttons function when mapped with any other view or command. Any drawing I open in Solidworks responds the same. These are all 'part' drawings.
I did the latest download last night, same problem. I restart the computer to refresh things and reload the drivers, all to no end. Still having the same little problem. Other than this, this Space Explorer has saved a LOT of time making part drawings.
Thank you,
Mike Rock

SP2, that is correct.
More information for you.
Restarting the computer and reloading the latest 3.4.4 in 'repair' mode does not completely eliminate the problem. The worst of it is that the problem occurs intermittently. I have ONE new drawing, an assembly that ALWAYS works with the Trimetric/Dimetric/Isometric view in any of the Shift/Alt/Ctrl/Esc keys. Never fails. Other drawings, both parts and one assembly will work for a little while after I start with the good drawing. Then after ten or fifteen minutes the mapped key for whichever of those views I have quits working. I prefer Trimetric, so rarely use the other two.
The one assembly that always works is not shaded. That seems to be the only difference. Very frustrating.
Most respectfully,
Mike Rock
Anyone else out there have a similar problem with Solidworks/SpaceExplorer? Should I upgrade to a more costly 3D tracking device? I did not buy the Explorer because of cost, but from having used one at a friend's shop.
Thank you all.

Hi Mike Rock
The only difference is with the shaded and unshaded models. Is that right?
Could you describe a scenario based on which I could reproduce? Could you send me (or recommend me) a model which would be available?
I believe there is a little mistyping error: it should be the 3DxSoftware v3-4-2, as the release v3-4-4 wasn't published (yet).
