Mechanical Desktop 2006 Not recognized

I have Autodesk Mechanical Desktop, the SPacePilot displays Any-Application, in previous releases it recognized and displayed AutoCad and would rotate. Any suggestions?

I am using release version 3.4.2, Driver 6.4.4 & firmware version 3.12.

Hi admirera,

Please install the archived "pre-2007 AutoCAD" add-in as 3DxSoftware v3-4-2 (currently available to download) contains only support (add-ins) for AutoCAD2007 and AutoCAD2008 (and of course the products based on these).

From the support page, I don't see a link to archived drivers. Where would I find them?

Hi admirera

The archived 3DxSoftware components are available on the driver download page. Just select the device you are using under STEP 1 and afterwards you will see Archive (Legacy Software) under STEP 2 (the last item in the list). Clicking on that position you will have displayed one position AutoCAD (pre-2007) - that is what you need.

I got the software updated, but now the acrobat reader does not zoom in and out.

6.0 standard.

In the mean time the current version (free of charge) is Adobe Reader 8 Version 8.1.0.

Please update your version and in the newest one you should be able to use not only the 2D navigation, but the 3D functionality as well.
