Inventor- 3d / 2d Indicator for 3d Mouse Navigation Bar

Requesting an indicator when selecting 2d mode with a 3d mouse. When in a layout drawing, there is a 2d indicator in the bar (see image above). Can one be added when in a model?

nice idea! The navbar is a tool from Inventor/Autodesk. Please request this feature at Autodesk. Thanks!
