Hi everybody!
Has anybody ever written a script to make these devices work with Flash? I own a Spaceball 5000 USB, and apart from PhotoShop and other designing tools, I would like to use it with Flash too (al least to pan, move and zoom). It would be really handy!
Thank you.

Hi Manete,
In what way could a "script" be written to add support for 3D mice in a Flash plug-in and/or player? Do you mean using ActionScript?
Adding support for 3D mice in Adobe Flash is something 3Dconnexion is quite looking forward to.

Hi ngomes.
Thanks for your answer.
No, I didn't mean to use a Spaceball in that way for a Player or using AS. I just wanted to know if there was already a "homebrew" piece of code so that Flash could recognize a 3D Connexion device in order to use it while programming (al least to zoom, move objects, basic things).
I do hope Flash is soon supported! Once you get used to this "ball" is difficult to live without it, even when using other programs!

Hi Manete,
So you mean support for 3D mice in Abobe Flash CS3. The ISV (Adobe) would have to add support themselves, I believe.
In these cases, we recommend our customers to send the request to the application and editor and to post here any feedback or other information they might receive (for the benefit of our Forum users).
