Navigator delay

Hi
I have a very irritating problem with my Navigator (Release version 3.4.2, Driver version 6.4.4, Firmware version 3.17) running Inventor 11 SP3.
Basically there is a delay of around 5 seconds before any reponse starts on the the screen. Once it gets started then all is fine and it doesn't happen all the time, only hwhen I haven't been using the Navigator for a bit.
This didn't always happen, it only reared its ugly head after I came back from holiday. The only change I could see was that someone had swapped my keyboard from a basic Dell one to a basic MS one and I had to replace the MS optical mouse that had been 'borrowed' with an identical one.
Any ideas? It seems that the drivers are going to sleep but how to correct the problem I am at a loss.

Please try to calibrate your device. You will find a calibration button on the driver GUI (Device Configuration). Just click on the button and see the behaviour in Inventor

No change on calibrating.
It seems as if XP is taking a while to recognise the existence of the Navigator, once it does things are fine.

Do either of you have a firewall program running?

Try creating an exception rule
add 3dxsrv.exe to be allowed.

Also are you using the office plugin this has been known to cause a delay when switching between apps.

There's only one of me...

No idea about firewall - probably not on the computer and 3dxsrv.exe is running. Will check with IT on that.
How do I check whether I have the Office plugin loaded?

Go to add remove programs the 3dxoffice plugin would be listed there if you have it installed.
