MagellanEvent period field
I'm developing for the SpaceNavigator on Linux. The documentation for the xdrvlib states that the MagellanEvent period field indicates which repeating data rate can be used for transmitting (in milliseconds). What does that mean? How do I make use of it?
Hi spacenavdev,
the MagellanEvent period field theoretically specifies the time interval between the data packets the device sends out. Its just in there for compatibility reasons, but we do not make any use of it!
So you can really ignore the value in the period field for your implementation!
