SpaceMouse Pro Wireless not working in Photoshop

Greetings,

Now in Photoshop CC 2018...

According to Connexion software support page a 3D Mouse should be compatible with it. Alas I cannot see any result within Photoshop. Not even a PAN movement (this is a case with Ai 2018 - horizontal pan only.

Is there any additional adjustment/setting to be made?

Edit -> Preferences -> Tools
On that screen uncheck "Zoom with Scroll Wheel" and "Animated Zoom"
The Zoom with Scroll Wheel disables zooming with the Space Mouse.
I think the Animated Zoom selection causes some reliability issues.

The Animated Zoom might not matter. The Scroll Wheel is the biggie.
Lately panning around an image results in a double-arrow cursor that won't go away unless I alt-tab out of PS and go back in. I thought the Animated Zoom might have resolved that, but i don't think it made a difference. Need to keep digging on that one.
