hi thank you for quick reply.
but i keep getting errors.
beta driver install ss1
and old driver uninstall ss2
I have a 3D Space Explorer i just got in brand new condition and i cannot open any Maya 2020.1 model without most of the geometry missing, it shows in the outliner but not there, inly like a peice of the model geometry shows.... Its working fine in Inventor and 3D Studio MAX, Mudbox, Blender, ect.
If any1 having the issue of geometry disappearing after reloading a scene i have figured out thar if you select all geometry in the outliner and then freeze transformations the geometry will reappear, But then when saved ans reloaded again you have to select all geometry. tranform (move) it all at once in any direction and THEN again freeze transformations again and it reappears. This is NOT a fix just a temporary workaround.

Whats the issue!?
Hi Bit Rage,
the SpaceExplorer is a legacy device and our latest driver - 3DxWare 10.6.5 - doesn't recognize it. But as far as I know you need this driver version for Maya 2020. I recommend to get a more recent product.
from the About window in your video there seem to be something messed up with the installation. It says you have 3DxWare 10.5.15 installed, but you have 3DxWinCore 17.6.5. These two versions do not belong to each other. I recommend to uninstall all 3Dconnexion driver software and re-install the latest driver. Then reboot and see if the situation changed.

i mostly only use the navigation knob, which supposedly hasn't changed at all to the new models, i got a brand new one for 80 bucks, i dont want to get just the knob due to it moving around on the desk, and others are 200+... i dont understand how an updated driver cant be made to work when the model benith the enterprise is ALMOST IDENTICAL to the explorer.
to be precise: The Buttons on the left side: "esc", "Shift", "ctrl" and "alt" are even not working in Windows, and the ones on the top: "1", "2", "3" and "4" are not working in Maya anymore. All the other Keys are fine (it seems for now).

to be even more precise: it seems that all "keyboard shortcuts" are not working. I have set my keys to 1-move 2-rotate 3-scale 4-maya hotbox. When i choose "maya move tool" instead of the shortcut "W", it works. But i see no workaround for the four left buttons.
