Space Pilot in Catia

Post by bmonty65 »

Following a recent post i have managed to remedy the initial problems i was having with no programmable functions being available.
I have discovered how to add my own functions in the catia vr button customization menu.
However it seems to have no intellegence in terms of the space pilot knowing if i am in sketch or assembly etc.
Any ideas?
Kind regards

I'm afraid it doesnt, i have tried to re install the software various times, ensuring that i selected catia v5r15 or later.
This gives me the same problem.

Hi bmonty65,

Unfortunately, this feature is not available in CATIA: you can create as many button configurations as needed but you'll need to change them manually ("Panel" button).

As the 3D Mouse button customisation feature is native to the application, we recommend you send a enhancement request to Dassault Systèmes and/or your CATIA reseller.
