Unable to set buttons - SmartUI keeps switching

When i start up solidworks, I can see the buttons in the settings window. I want to change some of them.
The second I click the settings window, it changes to 3dxsmartui, instead of being solidworks - assembly.
atm its ruining my workflow with the spacemouse because I can't change the buttons to what i'm used to.
Anyone know of a reason for this and how to fix it/workout?

Try stopping the driver and deleting all your user files in %appdata%/3dconnexion/3dxware/cfg.
Save your Solidworks.xml file somewhere first.

I have the same problem. Already wrote on support. Deleting all my user files from 3dxware/cfg did not help.

Call tech support.
If they can't help immediately, they will have you run a diagnostic program that should give us enough information to see what is going on.

I called support, but did not get answed yet,
But old driver version: 10.4.10 solved my problem.
