spacepilot/solidworks mode recognition

Post by OPK »

Spacepilot recognises only part, drawing and assembly modes in solidworks. How can i get sketch mode and commands to LCD?

Looks like this issue still has not been resolved. Also, when you first launch SW08, and customize the buttons, (like assigning R to one of the keys), the settings are not saved, and lost when you restart SW08.

Hi OPK,
Spacepilot recognises only part, drawing and assembly modes in solidworks.
In SolidWorks, the SpacePilot button configurations (add-in) change depending on the document type that is loaded. This is by design.

Hi ahmetunal,
the settings are not saved, and lost when you restart SW08.
This would be a bug and we need to confirm the scenario. If you can, let's us know what you're are doing to verify that the settings are not being saved. Also, make sure that you have selected the "SolidWorks" configuration on the 3Dconnexion Control Panel.
